Alternative Dispute Resolution
Advocates for ADR
As the courts have struggled more and more to keep up with case volume and the pace of change, more and more parties are using Alternative Dispute Resolution (“ADR”) to resolve disputes. ADR is fast, flexible, and highly successful in finding solutions.
Louis has been practising ADR throughout his career as a litigant, but more recently as a Mediator and Arbitrator in his own right. A member of the Canadian and Alberta ADR Institutes, Louis obtained his Qualified Arbitrator’s designation from the ADR Institute of Canada in 2021.
Louis brings the same experience and focus to Mediation and Arbitration as he brings to the practise of law: he looks for direct, practical, and actionable solutions.
Areas of ADR Practice
- Commercial contracts
- Real estate and leasing
- Corporate law
